Already a leader in preservative-free dry eye treatments for the past 10 years, we’re one of Canada’s fastest growing healthcare companies with a strong reputation among patients and healthcare professionals.

We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk (M/F), who will play an important role in our dynamic team while dealing with some accounting and bookkeeping tasks (Accounts Payables, expenses, reconciliations, reporting).

Your role will involve:

  • Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.

  • Process and book accounts payable.

  • Contact suppliers and customers to resolve any invoicing or payment issues.

  • Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for the documents and files of all the entities.

  • Assist with processing and booking cheques and other payments.

  • Creation of new client profiles and updating existing profiles in Quickbooks/CRM.

  • Assist in period end closing activities, provide various analysis.

  • Assist with verification and invoicing of accounts receivable.

  • Complete clerical and administrative tasks.

  • Special assignments and projects as our business grows and evolves.

You can be successful in this role if you have:

  • At least post-secondary education degree (i.e., DEC, DCS) with two-three years’ experience in finance/accounting or bookkeeping.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.

  • Good knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload demands, deadlines, and multiple tasks, as required, while working with minimum supervision.

  • Experience working in a small/medium-sized company is an asset.
