We are currently seeking an Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is able to work with minimal supervision and has excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Reporting

Credit Cards Reconciliation: Comparing credit card statements with internal records to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded; prepare the reconciliation reports

Accounts Payable Management: Reviewing and processing vendor invoices for payment

Expense Management: Process and track expenses for the sales team, ensuring proper documentation and approvals

Assisting with payments booking, accounts receivable and data entry

Assisting with regular reporting and month-end activities

Payroll & HR Management

Manage biweekly payroll in ADP software, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Prepare and manage HR contracts, offer letters, and other employment related documentation.

Maintain confidential employee files, contracts, and HR records in a secure and organized manner.

Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll, pay stubs, and leave balances.

Administer group insurance plans, including enrolments, terminations, and updates.

​Administrative Support

Handle confidential mail, agreements, and document storage.

Provide general administrative support to the management team.​
​Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting, payroll or financial administration.

Previous experience in small business is a definite asset.

Bilingualism: Fluency in both English and French (verbal and written)

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Proven experience with hands-on involvement and excellent problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Experience with accounting or payroll software is an asset.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
